Ana María Gazmurí, president of Fundación Daya, reported that her daughter was arrested for having 4 prescription cannabis plants.
“You just took my daughter in detention. My daughter has just been raided at this very moment where we are in this Commission,” Gazmuri said to the airwho, at the time of the events, had to retire to deal with the situation.
The well-known actress was in the middle of the session of the Constitution Commission of the Chamber of Deputies where a law is discussed that sanctions the illicit trafficking of substances. This also arises after a difficult year for mothers and patients who grow cannabis for therapeutic purposes.
