San Francisco authorities in California will allow cannabis dispensaries to remain open during the coronavirus quarantine.
Earlier this week, they sent to the dispensaries a notification to stay closed during this quarantine crisis. However, the San Francisco Health Department later said they would remain open.
“People depend on medicinal cannabis for their chronic pain, epilepsy, muscle spasms, among other conditions.” said the Dr. Susan Philip director of the Control and Prevention Center.
Authorities allowed patients to approach dispensaries but suggested using home delivery methods.
