Uber Weeds: the world famous app now allows customer to buy cannabis online in Canada

Users of the uber digital platform, in Ontario, Canada, will be able to order cannabis through the Uber Eats app; with this the company ventures into this business for the first time.

In partnership with the company Tokyo Smoke, people can order through the Uber application and pick up their orders in any of the 50 branches of the store.

This step will help adult consumers make safe, quality purchases. On the other hand, illegality is also threatened with this advance, according to Uber.

“We are partnering with industry leaders like Tokyo Smoke to offer safe and convenient options for people in Ontario to purchase legal cannabis,” Lola Kassim, general manager of Uber Eats Canada, said in an official statement.

Although in Canada the delivery by third parties is illegal, the purchase through means such as Uber is allowed, because the consumption of medicinal and recreational use in this country is.
