The authorities of the State of Las Vegas Nevada in the United States assigned almost 1.8 million collected from sales legal cannabis to finance homes for the homeless.
Last week, a vote was taken by the Clark County commissioners who allocated the budget to build housing in southern Nevada.
The money will be turned over to the Help Of South Nevada organization who will receive $ 856,000 in the first stage to build 72 beds in a homeless care center called the Shannon West Homeless Youth Center.

The center is responsible for housing and services for young people and young adults who are currently in a state of indigence or at risk of becoming inhabitants of the streets.
In addition, $ 931,000 will be used to add 60 new beds to a housing program for people who just leave hospitals.
