A medical clinic that offers free medical cannabis to patients was opened the previous Monday in Thailand.
So officially the government starts its plan to be part of the lucrative cannabis market.
The clinic is located in the center of Bangkok and is the first clinic dedicated exclusively to this medicine since cannabis was legalized for medicinal use in 2018.
On its first day the clinic received more than 400 patients who would be treated for various discomforts such as cancer and other pain.
However, recreational use is not the main purpose of the Thai government. At the moment, the government plans to open 77 cannabis clinics around the country, as confirmed by the health minister.
